Things you might want to know………..

 All our products are individually hand made using our own beautiful alpaca fibre.

Consequently we often only have one of each item and it may take some time to create another.

 Natural…….

The colours of all our knitted garments and felt hats are natural to our alpacas and have not been dyed or treated with harsh chemicals.

 Hats……..

All our hats are hardwearing and original Burnt Fen creations, they are also tricky little things to size up or perhaps it’s the heads that are the problem? However we want you to love your hat so if it doesn’t feel right please send it back (in its original condition please) and we will find it a new head to love instead.

 Silks……..

Our lovely silk scarves and shawls are all unique creations hand made by us, using alpaca fibre felted into silk chiffon which we hand dye on the premises. The felting process weights the silk causing the silks to drape beautifully.

 Perfection or Imperfection…………..

Often the joy of hand made creations is their unique nature and when working with hand spun fibres there can be variations in colour and texture. We will endeavour to alert you to any idiosyncrasy’s inherent in a product but often it is the inconsistency that makes the beauty.

Standard delivery within the UK costs £5 irrespective of the weight of the parcel. Orders are sent out by Royal Mail and should ordinarily arrive within three or four days.
